Offensive weapons can fall under 3 different categories. Firstly, an offensive weapon can be an object which is made for the use of causing injury to the person; this includes objects such as knives and bladed articles. Secondly, an offensive weapon can be any object which is adapted for the purpose of causing injury. Finally, an offensive weapon can be an object which is not made or adapted to cause injury, but it is used with the intention of causing injury.
