The fees involved in licensing applications vary and it is not always possible to provide a fixed fee in this regard. Once we know more about your case we can advise you of whether a fixed fee will be possible. However, in the meantime, we can give you a range of fees, based on the complexity of your applications. The complexity of an application may vary depending on factors such as whether there is a cumulative impact policy in place, the type and size of the premises or whether the premises are in a residential area.
You should be aware that it is unlikely that we can offer fixed fees for advice in relation to reviews of an existing Premises License or where a licence application has been referred to the local authority sub-committee or appealed to the magistrates’ court. These types of services are therefore not covered by the below guide of fees.
Complexity | Costs/Range of Costs | VAT | Sub Total |

A typical application will take between 6-8 weeks, from receipt of full instructions from you. This is on the basis that the application is relatively straightforward and that we have been provided with all the documents required in a timely manner. Where an application is more complex, as detailed above, or there is substantial opposition from other parties, it may take longer. With every transaction there are key milestones; our fee will include these milestones and may be as follows:
